Types of Article Indexes

Subject Indexes

     Is your topic in a particular subject area?

If so, use a subject index. These indexes focus on particular areas of study and the articles indexed are usually from scholarly sources. Examples of subject indexes and the kinds of articles they identify are:

Business Source Premier
Indexes articles in business and management.
PsycINFO
Indexes articles in psychology and related disciplines.
